Elections 2020: Afigya – Kwabre North NCCE Hold Parliamentary Candidates Debate.

The National Commission for Civic Education (NCCE) Afigya Kwabre North District on the 27th of November 2020 organized a dialogue event between the parliamentary candidates within the district at Kwamang.

A program which is said to give the electorates chance to ask and know the promises of their parliamentary aspirants and also to know who to vote for within their district and again to bring about peace ahead of the 2020 general election came as a success when the citizenry had the chance to ask parliamentary candidates questions and answers to their understanding.
Gracing the occasion with his presence was the NDC candidate in the person of Mr. Emmanu Agumah who had his share of answering a lot of questions and explaining his promises to the people of the Afigya Kwabre North District.

Speaking at the event, Mr. Agumah assured the people of the Afigya Kwabre North District that when it comes to the key areas in the dialogue he will make sure to use his influence and relationship with some important people in the country when it comes to employment to give the citizens within his district employment in the police service where they will undergo the right formality and proper channels to be employed.

Mr. Agumah again pledged to the electorates assuring them peace before during and after the general elections and that the citizens within the district should refrain from violence and not to engage in any form of destruction during this 2020 election and be an agent for peace. “I will plead, let’s all consider our future. We shouldn’t let anyone make us do anything that will put us in a position to be jailed or cost us our life because the politician will deny you when you find yourself in any of these situation”.

The candidate for the NPP however couldn’t make it to the event but some party members and some inhabitants of the community were also present.
