DJ Cuppy halts defamation suit against Isreal DMW after his public apology to the billionaire daughter

DJ Cuppy has said that she has instructed her lawyers to halt the intended defamation suit of Isreal DMW who had claimed that the billionaire daughter didn’t give someone (Zlatan Ibile)any money as she collaborated with him on her Gelato track.

When DJ Cuppy made her intentions clear that she was going to sue him for the false allegations, Isreal DMW, who is Davido’s personal logistics manager decided to apologize to the DJ for his comments.

DJ Cuppy announced her decision to sue Isreal on February 1 when he said on Twitter:

“For the record… There have been no breaches of my contractual agreement regarding the song #Gelato as confirmed by lawyers… However, as

publicly inaccurately declared I owe an artist money, I am suing him for libel and defamation! See you in court Isreal.”

Isreal then took to his social media account to publicly apologize to her for his comments and urge her to discontinue her intended suit.

On Friday, March 19, the daughter of Femi Otedola said that following the public apology by the man, she has decided to halt the suit and has thus instructed her lawyers not to proceed.

She took the opportunity to advise social media users to take a cue from this and stop accusing people wrongly as that could just put them in trouble.

DJ Cuppy announced on Twitter:

“Update: Following the public apology of Isreal Afeare, I have decided to no longer proceed with the lawsuit and have instructed my lawyers accordingly. As social media users, I hope we can all learn from this, and ensure that we have valid facts before we speak on matters.”
