Davido reacts to Burnaboy and Wizkid Grammy Wins, says it’s a victory for Nigeria

David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, has demonstrated some class act with his reaction Burnaboy and Wizkid Grammy wins yesterday.

He has, by this, all but confirmed that his past feuds with Burnaboy are behind now as he took to his official Twitter handle to congratulate the pair of Burnaboy and Wizkid for their exploits in the Grammy Awards this weekend.

In the tweet, Davido intimated that this is a victory for Nigeria, and for the people of the West African nation.

He then congratulated Burna Boy who won the Best Global Album with his ‘Twice As Tall’ album, and Wizkid who also won the Best Music Video with his collaboration with Beyonce on the “Brown Skin Girl” track.

Davido wrote:

Whichever way you look at it, this is a victory for Nigeria for the culture and for my people ! Congrats to our winners! Tule Naija! 🇳🇬 #Grammys #foreverchoke.”

It is a proud moment for Nigerians and Africans as a whole as we continue to make the waves internationally.

Burma Boy won on his second attempt after missing out in 2019.

This is a demonstration that hard work and Burnaboy said after he was announced the winner.
