Cristiano Ronaldo wins his second award of the month
Manchester United Forward Cristiano Ronaldo has been named as the Premier League’s Player of the Month for April 2022.
Despite a mixed time of it on the pitch for the Reds, the 37-year-old scored five goals in his four top-flight appearances for Manchester United last month, including a stunning hat-trick against Norwich City at Old Trafford which helped united to a dramatic 3-2 victory.

Ronaldo ended April with his fifth goal of the month, equalizing to earn a 1-1 draw with Chelsea.

The 37-year-old topped an eight-man shortlist that also featured Nathan Collins, Kevin De Bruyne, Bruno Guimaraes, Gabriel Jesus, Son Heung-min, Thiago and Leandro Trossard.
