Coup d’etat In Mali

The Chief of Staff of the President in Mali has been arrested by the military who have staged a coup d’état. He has been arrested along side with the Minister of Economy and Finance Abdoulaye Daffe and the Minister of Foreign Affairs Tieblé Dramé. The President of the National Assembly Moussa TIMBINE is also in their hands. Sources say they are arresting all ministers. Most of the military camps in N’Tominkorobougou are in turmoil. A military coup d’état is therefore underway against the regime of Ibrahim Boubacar Keita.

At the head of this drama is Colonel Sadio Camara, ex-director of the military Prytaneum of Kati who just returned from a training in Russia, and Colonel DIAW of the Kati Military District.
Most people including dignified personalities are fleeing the country. The latest news is that the the Minister of Defense, Ibrahima Dahirou Dembele is also under arrest.
