Bernard Tekpetey wins Bulgarian top-flight league player of the month

Ghanaian International Bernard Tekpetey has been crowned as the player of the month of April in the Bulgarian Professional League following his stellar performance in the League.

The 24 year old has netted 10 goals in the current season with eight as out of 23 games for the Bulgarian giants.

He clinched the Bulgarian Parva Liga title for the second consecutive time with PFC Ludogorets Razgrad last month with 67 points after they had opened 14 points gap at the top of the table.

Tekpetey made a permanent switch from the German side, Schalke O4 to Ludogorets in a deal worth around €900,000.

The UniStar Academy product was called up to the Ghana national football teamfor the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations. He made his debut for Ghana in a 1–0 loss to Egypt national football teamon 25 January 2017.
