In a recent video sighted by zackgh.com was 19-year-old boy who was on the verge of losing his finger or his life for wearing his friend’s ring made for spiritual purposes.
According to close relations, the victim reported that he found his friend’s ring lying on a table while they played video game at Kasoa Iron City.
The shine from the silver ring attracted him so he picked and wore it overnight, only to wake up with a swollen index finger.
All efforts to remove the ring proved futile, as blacksmiths only succeded in breaking off part of the ring.
It is said the family of the teenager have reached out to pastors and doctors, but all hopes seem to be dashing out.
What is beyond the resident’s comprehension is how the ring is boring its way into the teenager’s flesh and bones.
Information gathered indicates that the owner revealed the ring is resistant to water, as ordered by his spiritual advisor.
It is also reported the owner demanded a newborn baby’s blood to appease the deity to avert the consequence.
Today, a baby who is only 10 months old has been found dead at Nyanyano, just 30 minutes drive from Iron City, where the viral ‘sakawa ring’ incident took place.
The owner of the ring indicated that he was bound to lose his finger if a baby was not sacrificed to remove it.
Residents are drawing a link between the two events as news spread that the ring that was stuck on the gentleman’s finger would only be removed when a baby is sacrificed.
As previously reported, Emmanuel Otabil, the gentleman at Iron City in Kasoa, who went viral after he wore the ring that seemed to be ‘eating’ up his finger disclosed that it had been removed.
He admitted that the owner of the ring had said that the blood of a newborn baby was required to remove the ring or he would lose his finger eventually.
However, according to Emmanuel, a powerful mallam came to his rescue and performed some rituals which eventually got the ring off his finger, but he did not mention which particular rituals were performed.
The police are currently looking for the owner of the baby or anyone who might be complaining of a missing child.
