Arnold Asamoah Baidoo descends on Sarkodie, calls him disrespectful

Arnold Asamoah Baidoo, a popular Ghanaian entertainment analyst, has characterized a well-known Ghanaian rapper as disrespectful and arrogant.

He emphasized that Kwaw Kesse, a Ghanaian musician, voiced a problem with Sarkodie, claiming that the rapper ignores his messages and that when he phones, the rapper does not pick up or return his calls.

“In 2021, Kwaw Kesse brought up a problem, claiming that Sarkdie ignored his communications, which he stated on Okay FM, when called him for a feature.

Sheriffa Gunu, a Tamale-based musician, expressed the similar concern, claiming that Sarkodie ignores her mails and takes three months to respond.

He doesn’t answer to her messages, and if he does, it takes a long time for him to respond, and then he doesn’t respond for another 2 to 3 months.

Edem also brought up the fact that Saekodie had cost him a lot of money by failing to show up for a video shoot for a song on which he (Sarkodie) was featured.

In 2017, Ivorian artiste, Fredy Meiway was in Ghana, in an inteview when, he stated Sarkodie is a good rapper but doesn’t respect. He wanted to put Sarkodie on a track, when his song, ‘Adonai’ was making waves in Cote D’Ivoire and even sent him the song to add his verse.

However, Sarkodie was giving so many excuses, and took him more than a year to jump on the song.

“I’m no longer going to feature Sarkodie; he’s good, but he needs to modify his mentality before it’s too late.” According to Asamoah, Fredy Meiway

Sarkodie’s behavior of not answering when summoned for a feature or a video shoot was also criticized by Yemi Aladi in 2017.

The ‘Johnny’ hitmaker went on to call the decorated Ghanaian rapper “very harsh, unkind, and unprofessional” for his treatment of his coworkers.

They (both Sarkodie and Yemi’s management teams) agreed on a number of nations and locations for a video shoot, but Sarkodie failed to show up.

Arnold Asamoah, went on to affirm that Sarkodie is Ghana’s most decorated rapper, but that he has bad work ethics, which he should improve since he will not be pleased if people label him rude.
