All Africa must hail Nigeria for making global waves in entertainment —Stonebwoy

Ghanaian Dance hall artist, Stonebwoy, on the occasion of the exploits made by Nigeria artistes Burna Boy and Wizkid, who won Grammy Awards at this year’s awards ceremony, implored all Africans to hail Nigeria for the global waves they are making in the entertainment industry.

It was a proud moment for Africans when the two got awarded for their efforts in the entertainment industry.

As the two continue to celebrate, Stonebwoy wants all Africans to join in to hail Nigeria for holding it for the African continent and making waves globally.

No Ghanaian artist has been given a look in in this year’s awards, and Stonebwoy thinks that something is wrong with that.

He asked all Africans to rally behind Nigeria in a tweet after the two Nigerian were given the awards.

Burnaboy won the best Global Album awards with his ‘Twice As Tall’ album whiles Wizkid won the Best Music Video with his collaboration with Beyonce on the ‘Brown Skin Girl’ track.

He wrote :

“With All Due Respect Let All other African Nations Give It Up For Nigeria 🇳🇬
For their Constant efforts in Holding the Mantle for Africa when it comes to entertainment On The Global Scene. Congrats for holding it down at the Grammys..
As for Ghana 🇬🇭, smh I’ll be back.”
