The Manya Jorpanya Festival on Friday night, 26th September 2025, was thrown into chaos when celebrated Shashakuta hitmaker, NBJ — popularly known as Shai Wale and God of the Street — was violently attacked by a group of masked men. The incident occurred around 9:00 pm, right in the middle of the celebrations, leaving many attendees in shock and fear.

Eyewitnesses confirmed that NBJ sustained injuries during the assault and was swiftly rushed to St. Andrews Hospital in Kordeabe, where he is currently receiving medical treatment.
