The Greater Accra Regional Minister and Member of Parliament for Shai-Osudoku, Hon. Linda Akweley Ocloo, together with the District Chief Executive, Hon. Ignatius Godfred Dordoe, in partnership with the Traditional Leaders of the Shai State, have jointly cut sod for the commencement of the fencing of the Dodowa Forest.
The Dodowa Forest, a site of rich cultural heritage and historical value, has long suffered from encroachment and neglect. This joint initiative seeks to protect the forest from further encroachment, safeguard the legacy of our ancestors, and beautify the Dodowa enclave to promote both environmental conservation and socio-economic opportunities.
